크러쉬(Crush / Shin Hyo-seob) is a famous South Korean R&B and hip hop singer-songwriter and producer, and 조나단(Jonathan Thona Yiombi) is a famous Congolese-Korean YouTuber and television personality. 


‘싸움’ means ‘fight’

‘잘 하다’ means ‘good at’

‘극딜’ is a slang term for ‘bullying’ or ‘mobbing’. 


The term ‘극딜’ is most frequently used in video games to describe a situation where more than two players attack and bully one particular player in an effort to cause them severe damage.


In the video, 조나단 jokingly asks 크러쉬, “싸움 잘 하나요? (Are you a good fighter?)”

크러쉬 replies, “아 진짜 저는 태어나서 싸움을 한번도 안 해 봤어요.(Oh, I’ve never gotten into a fight in my whole life.)

조나단 asks again, “그럼 학창 시절에 시비를 거는 친구도 없었어요?(Are you saying that no one ever picked on you during your school years?)”

크러쉬 replies “없었어요. 제가 노래를 잘 하니까 싸움 잘 하는 친구들 한테도 인정받았고… (No. I was a good singer, so even the bullies liked me).

조나단 asks, “야 크러쉬야 노래 좀 불러봐라” 이거 였어요 혹시? (Was it like, “Hey Crush, come here and sing a song for us”?) “야, 야, 야, 효섭아 불러봐라(Like, hey, Hyo-seob. Sing for us.).”


크러쉬 says ‘no,’ but 조나단 keeps giving him a hard time by singing his song “Beautiful life” and acts like a bully saying, “Hey, sing it correctly.”


According to the title, ‘조나단 is giving 크러쉬’ a ‘극딜’.

Even though ‘극딜’ originally meant ‘mobbing’ in games, it is now used in a wider range of contexts, such as when someone is teasing someone else or giving someone else a hard time.
