‘내돈내산 (My money, I bought it)’ is an abbreviation for ‘내 돈 주고 내가 산,’ which is directly translated to ‘I bought it with my own money’. Because celebrities or influencers are often sponsored or endorsed by various brands, viewers tend to assume that something is sponsored when they post pictures or videos of certain branded items. So, whether something is sponsored or not, celebrities and influencers usually state ‘내돈내산’ when they want to claim that something is not sponsored.
