‘만만하게 보다’ means to ‘to look down on someone,’ ‘treat someone with contempt,‘ or ‘to recognize someone as a pushover and manipulate or abuse them’. 

‘말’ means ‘words,’ ‘간단히’ means ‘simple,’ and ‘제압’ means ‘to control’ or ‘to deal with’. 

So, it’s an informative video about ‘how to control or deal with someone who regards you as a pushover and attempts to manipulate and abuse you.’


Ex) 

A: 나 안 그래도 할 일 많은데, 대리님이 오늘 일 할 거 더 주셨어. 힘들다.
The manager assigned me more work to complete today when I already had more than I could handle. I’m so exhausted.

B: 헉… 힘들겠다. 그럼 언제 퇴근해?
Oh, no. You must be exhausted. When do you think you can get off work?

A: 모르겠어… 10시까지는 야근할 것 같아.

That’s too much. I think he is abusing you because he thinks you’re a pushover. You should speak up for yourself at least once.
