AESPA, a K-pop idol group, has gained a lot of popularity since its debut due to its captivating songs and choreography. Next level, along with their debut song Black Mamba, is one of their most popular tracks. Despite the fact that it didn’t win many music shows, and in fact only won one, it became the talk of the town. Many other idols have been talking about AESPA since then. 

The AESPA girls also became brand ambassadors for Givenchy, a French luxury brand, which is a huge deal in Korea as an idol.

Korean Culture & Language / Squid Game / “Red Light, Green Light”: a somewhat literary critique Translation is not just about delivering the meanings of words; it’s also about delivering the experiences that those words inspire. Therein lies the difference between literal and liberal translation.
